It is time to get in the action, as NFL futures and NFL props flood online sportsbooks. There are enough bets to satisfy everyone’s NFL betting appetite but finding the bests one is a challenge. Luckily, we have scoured the NFL betting odds available to present you, with what we think are ten of the best NFL futures for the 2020 National Football League season.
NFL Betting Odds for the 2020 Season
NFL betting odds are open on 2020 NFL futures and 2020 NFL props. There are a lot of NFL betting odds out there for the 2020 NFL season, so we thought we would make a list of some of the best NFL odds currently available.
AFC East Division Odds
- Buffalo Bills +112
- New England Patriots +124
- Miami Dolphins +800
- New York Jets +800
While the Buffalo Bills open the season as the favourite to win the AFC East, the best value is on the Miami Dolphins at +800. The Dolphins, who ended the season 5-4, addressed many holes on the roster, have a great head coach in Brian Flores, an easy schedule – and most importantly – a potential franchise-changing quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa.
Pick: Miami Dolphins (+800)
Green Bay Packers Win Total
- Over 9.5 +145
- Under 9.5 -209
Even if the Packers did not have the draft people wanted, they are coming off a 13-win season and an NFC Championship Game appearance. They still have Rodgers, a quarterback who when playing at least 15 games in a season, has ten or more wins, eight out of ten times. I would trust Rodgers and the Packers to win at least ten games in 2020.
Pick: Over 9.5 Wins (+145)
New York Jets Win Total
- Over 6.5 -153
- Under 6.5 +110
The New York Jets win total to open the 2020 NFL is 6.5, with the public betting on the over. But why? The Jets are thin on talent, are considering trading their best player – Jamaal Adams – and have a head coach with a losing record in three of his four seasons. Bet the under.
Pick: Under 6.5 Wins (+110)
Dallas Cowboys Divisional Finish
- First +100
- Second +140
- Thirds +451
- Fourth +2000
Talent-wise, the Dallas Cowboys are amongst the elite in the NFL. But when you cannot come to terms with your starting quarterback, its hard to back a team to win their division. The Cowboys franchise-tagged Dak Prescott, but rumours swirl around the inability of the two sides to come to a long-term deal. Is a holdout looming? Can the Cowboys win the NFC East with Andy Dalton? These seem like the problems of a second-place team.
Pick: Cowboys to Finish Second in the NFC East (+140)
To Make the Playoffs – Denver Broncos
- Yes +150
- No -213
The Broncos sprinted down the stretch last season, winning four of their last five games behind the arm of rookie quarterback Drew Lock. The team added some weapons for Lock in the draft – most notably wide receiver Jerry Jeudy – and bring a competent veteran defence into 2020. If Lock progresses in 2020, then the Broncos are a good candidate to push for a Wild Card spot.
Pick: Yes (+150)
First Coach Fired
Matt Patricia tops the odds for the first coach fired this NFL season, and while there is a strong argument for Doug Marrone, Patricia is our pick to get the axe first. Between a 2-10 record against the NFC North (in two seasons) and nine consecutive losses to end the 2019 season, you would be bullish to expect his stock is very high within the organization.
Pick: Matt Patricia (+300)
Defensive Player of the Year
A dominating force on off the edge last season, Chandler Jones racked up 19 sacks and a league-best eight forced fumbles in 2019. Jones’ style of play excels on a team that can build a lead – something the Cardinals should do more often in 2020. With a chance to get to the quarterback more often, Jones is not only worth betting at +1600 to win DPOY, but if you can find it, worth betting to break the NFL single-season sack record of 22.5.
Pick: Chandler Jones (+1600)
2020 NFL Regular Season MVP
The NFL regular season MVP odds are extensive. Because there are so many options, we are going to give you two – the best favourite to bet on and the underdog with the greatest value.
Best of the Favourites to Win NFL MVP in 2020
When you talk about the best quarterbacks in the NFL, is it commonplace to mention Russell Wilson? Really, the only thing the guy is missing in an MVP – and 2020 may finally be his year. In eight seasons, Wilson has never posted a losing record. He is coming off three straight seasons with at least 31 passing TDs. And he led the NFL last season in fourth-quarter comebacks. The timing feels right for Wilson.
Pick: Russell Wilson (+600)
Best Underdog to Take
At +6600 we are backing Philip Rivers as the best underdog to win the MVP. Rivers enters a favourable situation in Indianapolis. Rivers will play behind arguably the best offensive line of his career. The Colts committed their draft capital to add offensive pieces. Add in Rivers has some of his best years playing for Frank Reich in San Diego, suddenly Rivers posting numbers similar to Andrew Luck’s last season for the Colts (4600 yards and 39 passing touchdowns), does not seem too unreasonable.
Pick: Philip Rivers (+6600)
Early Super Bowl Prediction
With training camps likely delay and a shuffling of players and coaches in the offseason, we are going with one of the NFL’s most consistent franchises as our early Super Bowl pick. While, this pick is controversial on the surface, the Pittsburgh Steelers at +2000 should have your attention.
The Steelers, despite losing their quarterback in Week 2, glued together an 8-8 season behind a relenting defence. Entering 2020, that defence will be complemented by a much superior offence. Ben Roethlisberger is healthy, they added wide receiver Chase Claypool in the draft and signed tight end Eric Ebron.
While the Chiefs and Ravens are the popular picks entering the 2020 season, the Steelers have the talent on both sides of the ball to compete with the best in the NFL.
Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers (+2000)

After some delays, changes in fights, and eventually moving the event from Brazil to Las Vegas, UFC 250 is finally here. The headliner features Canadian Felicia Spencer challenging Amanda Nunes for the Women’s Featherweight Championship. While Nunes is a heavy favourite, the card is offering some good UFC betting odds, especially on the Bantamweight fights which make up the brunt of the main card.
