The East and West Finals are ready to go on November 17, 2019. The games start in Hamilton, with the Tiger-Cats hosting the Edmonton Eskimos, a team they nearly double in the win column this season. The second game features the West best Saskatchewan Roughriders hosting the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. This game features the best two offensives in the West, meaning fireworks could be on the horizon.
NBA 2020 Futures and Betting Lines

NBA Finals Winner Prediction
A busy summer in the NBA has the shape of the league looking differently than it did one season ago.
The moves in the offseason have shifted the power back to the Western Conference, where six of the top eight NBA Finals favourites reside.
Opening the season as the favourite is the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers added Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in the summer, arguably two of the five best players in the NBA last season.
The Clippers face some stiff competition in the Western Conference, from rivals the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets.
Both teams have reigning MVPs and added big names in the summer (Russell Westbrook to the Rockets and Anthony Davis to the Lakers).
While the additions rival that of the Clippers, the Clippers’ edge over the Lakers and Rockets is their depth.
The Los Angeles Clippers have more talent outside of their two superstars, while some players were traded in exchange for Paul George, the group that remains led the Clippers to a surprising 48-win campaign last season.
While health remains a factor for the Clippers, and there are not many slouches in the Western Conference (do not sleep on Utah at NBA Vegas odds of +1400), the Clippers are the best bet to win the 2020 NBA Finals.
Pick: Los Angeles Clippers (+333) to Win the 2020 NBA Finals
Best NBA Division Winner Odds
Of the 30 teams in the six NBA divisions, the organization offering the best NBA odds with the best chance to win their division is the Houston Rockets at -286. The Rockets are coming off consecutive Southwest Division titles, winning 65 and 53 games respectively the previous two seasons.
The Rockets made headlines this summer, shipping Chris Paul to the Oklahoma City Thunder for former MVP Russell Westbrook. Westbrook and Harden played together at the start of their career, leading Oklahoma City to their lone NBA Finals appearance.
The competition in the Southwest is not overly fierce this season. Their biggest competition comes from San Antonio and New Orleans. However, bettors should not worry themselves too much with either team.
San Antonio lacks the depth of a real NBA contender, while New Orleans, lead by first overall pick Zion Williamson, is too young to challenge the veteran Rocket squad.
Pick: Houston Rockets (-286) to Win Southwest Division
Toronto Raptors Betting Odds Going into 2020
After winning their first NBA Championship in franchise history, expectations for the Toronto Raptors are tapered in entering the 2019-20 NBA season. However, it is far from doom and gloom for the Toronto Raptors entering the season.
The Raptors retain their team from last season, excluding Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard and three-and-d specialist Danny Green. While the lack of Kawhi Leonard dashes their chances at repeating as champs, they still are poised for a successful season.
Last year, in games with Leonard, the Raptors went 17-5. While some pundits will point out Leonard mainly sat out against weaker teams, it is hard to argue that the players who played in his stead are better than they were last season.
Pascal Siakim is continuing to develop into one of the most promising young players in the NBA, while Fred VanVleet was the second-best Raptor in the final two rounds of the NBA playoffs.
The Raptors also have Marc Gasol for a full season to pair with veterans Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka. The combination of those five and some solid other pieces, including O.G. Anunoby, should help the franchise have another winning season.
Although they probably do not have the talent to win the Eastern Conference, they could win 50 games again this season.
Pick: Toronto Raptors Over 47.5 Wins (-139)
NBA MVP Prop Bets
Reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo opens the season as the favourite to win MVP and, history shows it very reasonable to bet on him to win again in 2020.
Repeat MVP are common in the NBA. Steph Curry, Steve Nash, Tim Duncan and LeBron James (twice) have all repeated as MVP in the last 20 seasons.
What Giannis has in common with those players, is he is coming off a 60-win season, and his team has another chance to top that plateau this year.
The Bucks’ record is not the only reason Giannis can repeat as NBA MVP. Giannis is a beast both offensively and defensively.
Offensive averaged 27.7 points last season, while only averaging 32.2 mins per game. Giannis finished second in the NBA in defensive rating, while averaging close to 1.5 blocks and steals per game.
With Giannis entering his prime, the relatively thin state of the Eastern Conference and an offseason to work on his free throw shooting, Giannis has a chance to not only replicate his 2019 season but improve upon it.
Pick: Giannis Antetokounmpo (-150) to Win NBA MVP
