Best NHL Money Lines Picks Tonight

Best NHL Money Lines Picks Tonight
After a day off on Thursday, the NHL fills up the rest of the weekend with a bunch of great NHL games, including ten on Saturday. With a large number of teams coming off games on Friday, this is one of the more unique Saturday’s of the NHL season. Taking into account as much as possible, here are the best NHL teams to wager on Saturday, November 25.

Best Saturday Wagers On The NHL

A quarter into the NHL season, knowing which teams are serious Stanley Cup contender is becoming more apparent. However, injuries, slumps and just the general parity in the NHL can change everything. This is a good point in the season to revisit NHL futures (a topic touched on later in this article after previewing the best moneylines of Saturday).

Since every team was off on Thursday, many organizations are playing both Friday and Saturday this weekend, making this one of the hardest weekends of the season to get reliable lines for (prior to Saturday). However, taking into account as much information as possible including team statistics and matchup history, here are the best NHL moneylines to wager on November 25. Also please note due to the large volume of games on Friday, odds for most games on Saturday are not available at the time of publication. Please visit one of our top-rated sportsbooks (Sports Interaction, Bodog, William Hill, Bet365 and Betway) for odds on Saturday.

  • Washington Capitals at Toronto Maple Leafs: Washington
  • New York Islanders at Ottawa Senators: New York
  • Minnesota Wild at St. Louis Blues: Minnesota
  • Anaheim Ducks at Los Angeles Kings: Anaheim

Game Previews And Predictions

The Florida Panthers are coming off a big win on Wednesday, shutting down the Maple Leafs’ offence in a 2-1 overtime victory. Florida will be in for another tough test when they host the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday. Florida is only 2-4-4 against Chicago since the 2011-12 season, but they won the last game between the two clubs 7-0. Chicago is just average on the road, going 5-4-2 (but they are 7-4 ATS on the road). Chicago should play better than they did on their last trip to Florida, but the Panthers should win on Saturday.

The big game on Saturday pits the Washington Capitals against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Leafs beat the Capitals in Washington earlier this season 2-0. Frederik Andersen was stellar in that game, and outside of a hiccup on Monday night against Arizona, he has been the Leafs best player for the month of November.  Both the Leafs and Capitals play on Friday, with Washington hosting the NHL leading Tampa Bay Lightning and the Leafs facing Carolina on the road. It would be impressive if Washington beat both the Leafs and Lightning in two days, so if the Capitals win tonight, bet them to lose on Saturday and vice-versa if they lose tonight.

The Islanders finish a busy week of hockey with a stopover in Ottawa to play the Senators. The Islanders face Philadelphia on Friday night before heading to Ottawa. The Islanders and Senators are each 5-4-1 in their last ten games played against each other. This will be the first time the two clubs play this season. The Islanders are 5-7 on the road this season (before Friday’s game), while Ottawa has lost nine of its 13 games (4-4-5). The Islanders have the second-best offence in the NHL this season, scoring 3.67 goals per game. Ottawa’s home defence is amongst the worst in the NHL, ranking 28th in goals allowed. Take the Islanders to win.

St. Louis was the only team this week that did not play on Wednesday. However, they will go into Saturday’s game having just played the Nashville Predators. The Wild are in a similar situation, having played the Avalanche on Friday night. The Blues are the best team in the Western Conference, but a hard fought game against Nashville could have the Blues worn down going into Saturday’s game against Minnesota. Take the Wild to win on Saturday.

The best late game of the day features the second place (in the Pacific Division) Los Angeles Kings and their division rivals, the Anaheim Ducks. The Ducks have the edge in the recent history of the, going 6-3-1 but the Kings are 2-0-1 in the last three. The Kings play in Arizona on Friday night and may opt to rest Jonathan Quick on Saturday. Take the Ducks to win, especially if the Kings decide to leave their star goaltender on the bench.

Eastern And Western Conference Futures

The best overs to bet on Saturday are on the Islanders-Senators game and the Calgary Flames and Colorado Avalanche game. The game between Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay also has the potential to be high scoring if both teams opt to play their backups. The best under bets to make are on the Buffalo Sabres and Montreal Canadiens game and the Winnipeg Jets and San Jose Sharks game.

At the quarter point of the season, the Tampa Bay Lightning (+300) are the favourites to represent the Eastern Conference and the St. Louis Blues (+450) to represent the Western Conference. The Lightning has a better track record than the Blues. The Lightning made the Stanley Cup in 2015, but injuries plagued them over the last two seasons.

The St. Louis Blues have not made the Stanley Cup since 1970 and have only made it past the first round of the playoffs three times in the last 12 years. A good bet, at this point of the season, would be on the Los Angeles Kings (+600) or the Nashville Predators (+700). All Eastern and Western Conference champion futures are from Bodog
