UFC 250 Preview and Free Picks

UFC action returns to Las Vegas on Saturday, June 6, with the Women’s Featherweight Champion and three Bantamweight bouts on the main card.
UFC 250 Betting Odds and Picks
UFC 250 betting odds are available on each on the main card. Below are our best picks, betting odds with the most value, and bets worth tossing in a parlay.
Main Event – Amanda Nunes vs. Felicia Spencer for the Featherweight Championship

Fighter #2 |

Amanda Nunes |
-535 | +20000 (Draw) |
+365 | Felicia Spencer |
The main event sees Amanda Nunes and her first title defence of the Featherweight Championship against Felicia Spencer. Nunes won the belt at UFC 232 but spent the last two UFC defending the Women’s Bantamweight Championship.
However, she returns to the Featherweight Division and opens as the overwhelming favourite over Spencer. Nunes ranks #1 in the UFC’s women’s pound-per-pound rankings. She is capable of winning through any method. Over her current 10-fight winning streak, two victories can come by submission, five by KO/TKO, and three by decision.
Nunes is worth taking over the talented, but overmatched Spencer. As picking a method of victory or a round of victory for Nunes is always a challenge, we are going to take the women’s championship straight up to defend her belt.
Pick: Amanda Nunes to Defend the Featherweight Champion (-535)
While the betting value on Amanda Nunes to win the fight is not great, it is worth parlaying her to win with any of our upcoming picks on UFC 250.
Raphael Assuncao vs. Cody Garbrandt

Fighter #2 |
---|---|---|---|---|
Raphael Assuncao |
+120 | +20000 (Draw) |
-155 | Cody Garbrandt |
Once amongst the top fighters in the Bantamweight tier, Cody Garbrandt enters this fight with three straight losses, all coming by KO/TKO. However, we like Garbrandt’s chances to get back in the win column when he takes on Raphael Assuncao.
Assuncao style favours winning by submission or decision. Garbrandt puts up his best fights against these styles of fighters and has yet to lose by either method in his MMA career.
We also think Grandbrandt is going to be throwing punches hard and early, giving him a chance to pick up his eighth career first-round KO/TKO.
Pick: Cory Grandbrandt to Win in Round 1 (+334)
Alijamin Sterling vs. Cory Sandhagen

Fighter #2 |
---|---|---|---|---|
Cory Sandhagen |
-115 | +20000 (Draw) |
-115 | Alijamin Sterling |
With the odds of each fighting winning the same (as on June 1), this is a real pick’em type of fight. While Alijamin Sterling ranks higher in the Bantamweight rankings (second versus fourth), we are taking Sandhagen to win this fight.
Sandhagen is undefeated since returning to Bantamweight, going 4-0. He pulled off two victories by decision, one by submission, and another by TKO (punches).
His ability to throw different styles at fighters will help him against Sterling. Sterling is a smart fight, with a great ground game (16 of his 18 wins are by submission or decision). However, that style may not work well enough to beat Sandhagen – who is apt at scoring points and defending takedowns.
Pick: Cory Sandhagen to Win (-115)
Neil Magny vs. Anthony Rocco Martin
- Anthony Rocco Martin +115
- Neil Magny -145

Fighter #2 |
---|---|---|---|---|
Anthony Rocco Martin |
+115 | +20000 (Draw) |
-145 | Neil Magny |
The lone Welterweight fight at UFC 250 sees two veterans – combining for 51 fights and 39 wins – squaring off on Saturday night in Las Vegas. The most value bet on this fight is to take Anthony Rocco Martin to win by decision.
Seven of Martin’s last nine fights have gone the distance, while Magny has seen 13 of his 29 fights end by decision. Both fighters have a reasonable chance to win this fight, which is why taking Martin is a better bet. He is offering more juice than Magny, but worth parlaying with one of the nights biggest favourites (Nunes or O’Malley).
Pick: Anthony Rocco Martin to Win by Decision (+274)
Eddie Wineland vs. Sean O’Malley

Fighter #2 |
---|---|---|---|---|
Eddie Wineland |
+310 | +20000 (Draw) |
-450 | Sean O'Malley |
Once again, UFC 250 sees two Bantamweights squaring up in the Octagon. Sean O’Malley (11-0) opens the fight as the overwhelming favourite over Eddie Wineland (24-13-1).
O’Malley is only two months removed from a dominating performance at UFC 248 – winning by TKO two minutes into the first round against Jose Alberto Quinonez. O’Malley now has seven wins by KO or TKO in his MMA career.
Look for him to stretch it to eight wins when he takes on Eddie Wineland. Wineland has only one win since December 2016. Also, a third of his UFC losses have been by KO or TKO. Take O’Malley to win by KO or TKO as there is much more valuable than just picking him straight up to win the fight.
Pick: Sean O’Malley to Win by KO, TKO or DQ (-115)
