NFL Teams To Bet On To Make The Playoffs

The 2022 NFL season is going to be here before we know it, meaning bettors should start getting some bets in for teams that have a good chance to make the NFL playoffs with great odds.

With the wild NFL offseason that we witnessed this year, and the NFL Draft recently concluding, teams that didn't make the playoffs a year ago now appear to have a chance to not only make the playoffs but even win a Super Bowl.

Whether it's the Miami Dolphins getting star wide receiver Tyreek Hill, the Cleveland Browns acquiring DeShaun Watson, or all of the other changes that have been made, this NFL season is shaping up to be one of the most competitive in recent memory.

Before we jump into the three teams that bettors should put money on, let's take a look at the current odds to make the NFL Playoffs this season for a few different teams.

Odds To Make The NFL Playoffs

Let's now take a look at teams for future bets that have a chance to return to the playoffs after missing out last year that bettors should put some money on.NFL Teams To Bet On To Make The Playoffs

 3. Miami Dolphins

Last season, the Miami Dolphins had an eventful season. They started the season as one of the worst teams in the NFL, but then went on a massive winning streak that nearly got them into the playoffs. Miami won eight of their last nine games, but their early problems were too much to overcome, as they fell one game short of the playoffs.

Miami made several significant moves this year. The most significant move for Miami is the addition of superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill. With the addition of elite offensive tackle Terron Armstead, Miami was able to bolster their offensive line that struggled a year ago.

There's no denying that the Miami Dolphins not only had the best offseason in their division but arguably in all of football. If these guys that they were able to acquire play the way that they have throughout their entire career, Miami is going to be a legitimate team throughout the 2022 NFL season, and not only can they make the playoffs, but they could make a decent run in the playoffs if quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is playing at to his best ability.

If Miami can keep performing as they did at the conclusion of last season, they should be able to sneak into the playoffs with ease.

2. Cleveland Browns

One of the most significant offseason trades in the last decade was made by the Cleveland Browns. They were able to acquire superstar quarterback DeShaun Watson, and while it is still unclear whether he will be able to play in every game due to a potential suspension, he should be able to play in the second half of the season. Cleveland should have no reason to miss the playoffs if Watson can play in the season’s final 10 to 12 games.

There are still some unanswered issues regarding the Cleveland Browns and how their receiver crew will look in the future. Although Jarvis Landry will likely not be in Cleveland, they will have DeShaun Watson, Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, and a few other talented offensive players that should be able to get the job done.

The Browns are one of those teams that bettors might want to wait to see if DeShaun Watson is going to be able to play for at least half of the games this season because if he isn't, they probably will not make the playoffs. If they do have him at the quarterback position for at least half of their games and the weapons and defence that they have around him, there's truly no excuse why they shouldn't make the playoffs.

1. Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers finished 9-8 last season and missed the playoffs by just one game. A team with that much talent missing the playoffs is certainly a disappointment, but they should be much better than they were a year ago.

When you consider that the Los Angeles Chargers will have Justin Herbert running their offence, as well as Keenan Allen, Austin Ekeler, and a slew of other offensive weapons, betting on the Chargers to make the playoffs is a great idea.

The only other team that might have had a better offseason than the Miami Dolphins is the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers.

They were also able to acquire Khalil Mack to a struggling defence a year ago, which should help them improve on last year's performance. Los Angeles gave up the third amount of points a season ago, giving up 27 per game.

The Chargers are always an interesting team to put money on at the beginning of the season because you truly never know what this organization is going to do. They've been able to have some star-studded teams in the past and then it comes to the late part of the year and they can't get the job done.

Justin Herbert is going to continue having to be one of the best players in all of football and if that can happen, the Chargers have a legitimate chance of making the playoffs.
