Betting On The Colorado Avalanche

Inheriting a team loaded with a strong mix of talented youth and experience was a big part of Colorado’s success in those early years. Guys like Patrick Roy, Joe Sakic, and Peter Forsberg were the cataylsts for that first Stanley Cup team and helped the organization win another Cup in 2001.

Not a lot of success has followed since then as Colorado’s brass simply haven’t been able to find that right mix of veterans to lead their young talent and the Avalanche have been stuck in many rebuilding seasons since then. More recently, they went out and brought guys like Joe Sakic (GM) and Patrick Roy (Head Coach) back into the organization to expedite the winning process, but NHL bettors still tend to go against Colorado more often than not.

However, this is a proud organization that has high hopes for the future.
