Betting On The Chicago Blackhawks

It was dominant scouting and drafting in the mid-2000′s that really turned things around for the Chicago Blackhawks organization. Getting Brent Seabrook, Duncan Keith, Jonathan Toews, and Patrick Kane with high draft choices during that time built the core of this franchise for the better part of the last decade. Those four guys have turned into superstars in this league and management continually retools and reloads the roster around those guys to ensure they are one of the better teams in the league each year.

All of that winning does provoke plenty of betting interest in Chicago Blackhawks betting lines, but it does come with a cost. Experienced bettors know that perception of a team can play just as big a part in the moneyline prices as reality does, and in a “what have you done for me lately” betting world, the Blackhawks are atop the pack.

That means that the Blackhawks betting lines might be overvalued numerous times throughout the year as long as those four studs are involved and saavy bettors can look for great situational spots (three games in four nights, end of a road trip, etc) to actually go against Chicago and grab the value odds with their opponent. Given all the winning Chicago has done recently, going against the Hawks is a risky proposition, but finding winners in the NHL betting market is a tough thing to do.

Studying the Hawks play year in and year out will help you better navigate all of that uncertainty and provide profits to your bottom line.
