Arizona Cardinals Betting Lines

Elders in the NFL, the Cardinals roots stretch back to 1920 when they played in the defunct American Professional Football Association in the Windy City as the Chicago Cardinals. Following 28 seasons in St. Louis, the Cards franchise moved west in 1988 as the Phoenix Cardinals. Arizona Cardinals betting lines were first posted prior to the start of the 1994 NFL season. Despite their many moves, the Bidwill family has owned the Cardinals franchise since 1932.

Arizona Gets Shutout During the First Half Century of Super Bowl Betting

Controversially named NFL Champions in 1925, the Chicago Cardinals won the title outright in 1947 prior to basically falling of the postseason wagering map from 1949 to 2007. At their various homes along the way, the Cards made just four playoff appearances during that span and they posted a 1-4 record during five postseason battles. The Cardinals fortunes started to turn in 2008.

Arizona made just one NFL title game appearance during the first 50 Super Bowls as they took the Wild Card route following a 9-7 record in 2008. The Cardinals, led by QB Kurt Warner, eliminated the Falcons, Panther and Eagles before dropping a 27-23 decision to the Pittsburgh Steelers during Super Bowl XLIII.
